“Joy” – A two-sided coin????? – By Noor Rahim

NOOR R. RAHIM

Joy – A two-sided coin

The word “Joy” is such a wonderful 3 lettered word

The meaning is that of feeling great pleasure and happiness

That’s what it means to the righteous and God-fearing ones

But the word is like a coin, which is double sided

The goodness on one side and the other depicting the bad

One side depicts the goodness that one expects in life’s experiences

And the other, which reeks of sheer villainy and evilness

All this is dependent on how and by who, the coin is flipped

On one hand “joy” is the fulfilment of ones’ longing, as so desired

And the immeasurable pleasure it brings; that happiness elates

It also brings a great sense of satisfaction that in a person glows

All rolled in one is that “joy” brings to one, in many folds

The flip side of the coin, just reeks of venom and ill feelings of the “bad”

In as much as “joy” brings “Tears of joy” – of pleasure and happiness

We have the “evil” who would take “joy”, in others misfortunes

The sadist of course, will “Take great joy” in inflicting pain to the unfortunate & ill-fated

Joy – A two-sided coin

So, there you have the two sides of the coin depicting “joy” & “hatred”

One, the interpretation of the “good” fellow human beings

And the other, that of the vindictiveness and viciousness

Do flip the coin onto the “correct side” up & spread the Goodness of your “Faith
