L V JAYAWEERA OBITUARY
It is with deep sorrow I inform you of the death of Vivian Jayaweera on the 25th May in Sydney Australia, beloved son of the late Irene and L.V Jayaweera, loving husband of Lalith, father of Kaushal, Chulani and Viraj, father-in-law of Janaka, Eshan and Shanelle. Grand father of Jinendra, Jinendri, Wirendra, Jineth, Eranda, Liasha and Leonard. Great Grand Father of Koan and Julian. Brother of late Manel, late Gamini and late Nelum.
Vivian’s parents were our neighbours in Dematagoda, Sri Lanka for over 70th years. His father affectionally known as L.V Jayaweera was a well known and renowned boxer and in his honour the L V Jayaweera inter- school championship, a prestigious boxing event is held every year.
Before migrating to Australia he held the position of a Senior Police Inspector.
