Lahiru Perera born in a small village Kehelbaddara in Udugampola in year 1984 stormed into the limelight in Sri Lanka’s music arena when he was only twenty-four years old with his HIT Single “Rambari” when he was in his early twenties in year 2008. This song was authored by his close buddy Manuranga Wijesekera also his maiden lyrics. Since then, he had further blossomed to be a complete sought-after vocalist, musician, and music producer. Lahiru is named “La Signore” on stage involved in a perfume as his latest venture which is a fragrance perfume line.
Lahiru was lately chosen as one of the Judges for ‘Sirasa Voice Teen’ and is super enthusiastic to bring youthful talent to the international music arena. Lahiru’s journey towards fame, of course, was not a phenomenon, but an exquisite consequence of talent and dedication. As a result of these virtues, he has now become one of the most sought-after musicians in Sri Lanka , appointed as a brand ambassador for most well-known trade names.
Lahiru as ‘La Signore’ on stage, is one of a jovial, bubbly and entertaining fictional character to be with, he would be anybody’s choice to hang out and chill to have a fascinating time. Lahiru himself never ever would had thought that his first single would skyrocket to fame not only in motherland but all across Asia. Also he would have never dreamt in turn he would downpour into a thriving music producer, musician and even continue to have his own perfume variety and merchandise. No other Sri Lankan musician has had this accomplishment and triumph, as Lahiru is a person who always does somewhat out of the unique.

Lahiru had confessed recently how he got inspired into music He had got interested when his Dad had bought an electric organ to his sister after she had excelled at the O Levels which she had not touched .Lahiru sans any hereditary affiliations to music may had had innate talent had meddled with this electric organ had been successful in learning to play of course no one and himself was not aware what was been played. But to date he had quipped as immeasurable. There is a huge uninterrupted journey in music in store for Lahiru already on a stable footing.All music fans are sure to hear and enjoy more the enthusiasm continued with Lahiru. However as he matured had learnt music to become the Orchestra Head at DS Senanayake College in the later years though his passion and innate talent was to study mathematics which paved the way to commence a career in Audio Engineering career in Singapore. But to the insistence of parents he has had to stop after third year in a course in computing at APPIT. Lahiru had quipped that he has had good as well as bad experiences in life, the bad experiences had learnt him to stride. These are more of Audio Engineering instead of producing. The experiences gained up of his music creations which would be extraordinary as his previous popular accomplishments.
