Namini Panditha a native of Matara based in Colombo is a well-qualified Attorney- at – Law of Supreme Court of Sri Lanka, much passionate in legal research to ensure weighty thoughtful about cases , to underwrite to the enhancement of case law commandment in Sri Lanka. Efficaciously leading teams while working to outline and foster a deeming affiliation with courts and clients. Namini triumphed in Bachelor’s Degree in Law (LLB(hons) Second Class Upper Division) at the Faculty of Law of University of Colombo positively read for Masters in Human Rights (MHR) at the same University completed Masters of Law in International Business (LLM) at Staffordshire University, UK. Apart from professional commitments, working currently as the Chief Operating Officer and Co convener of Liberal Youth Movement of Sri Lanka, a political and social policy think tank in a gravity group, where she is a founder member. in Liberal Youth Movement formed on10th June 2022 as a non-aligned youth led movement which focuses on encouraging liberal political morals to augment political literacy and comprehensive politics in Sri Lanka. In social accountabilities, she is the founder of the concept “Community Cupboard’ in Sri Lanka to promote sharing and caring among communities in order to empower citizens to take tasks and accountabilities about themselves and their communities by initiating community cupboards, community kitchens etc. Namini states that she found the flaws in our political and economic system even when she was young also when she was a student realised a long term betrayal of the democratic values as well as political illiteracy of the country. Hence felt a diverse system was desirable for people to be aware and be included in a political economic and social discussion to achieve a more literate society. Before she formed the Liberal Youth Movement she tried to find the route causes of this crisis and the catastrophe that they were facing., which had motivated Namini to be a part of this solution.

Namini deems the current economic crisis stems from a longstanding treachery of liberal morals. Namini claims tackling this catastrophe requires simultaneous political, social and economic restructurings backed by extensive public sustenance, Their multilayered posture will aim to drive the much needed comprehensive deviations for nation’s repossession for future steadiness The movement has made significant strides with a strong youth assembly including women, minorities and individuals from unrepresented communities promoting ideals such as liberty, individual rights, the rule of the law and tolerance. Members of the movement come from a wide range of professionals, academics,in vivid regions across Sri Lanka Jaffna to Matara and Colombo to Batticaloa. enhancing their influence nationwide through workshops, deliberations and training programs thus assisting individuals to comprehend and squeeze liberal ideologies… The movement is lively in ten districts engages nearly two thousand young people with diverse educations, it encounters debatable legislation in court. Democracy and liberal ideals are repetitively under obstruction globally from first world countries in the west which to developing countries like Bangladesh and Sri Lanka which Namini Panditha is fearlessly championing political literacy .and liberal values from grass-roots level as a first step for change. Thuss the Liberal Youth Movement is dedicated to focus on nurturing a modern liberal democracy accentuating individual autonomy, impartiality with the rule of law which advocates for the defence of personal liberties, tolerance of diverse interpretations.

Namini,has represented LYM in many international forums, including meetings with the Friedrich Naumann Foundation for Freedom in Bangkok to explore partnerships and strategies for promoting liberty in the region. , meaning it is independent of traditional political parties, focusing instead on inclusive politics and political literacy.

After the establishment of the Liberal Youth Movement having recognized her flairs in many fields Namini was invited regularly for many forums to speak on vivid topics on diverse platforms at all of which she was very impressive for example on Women’s Day, Vesak Day, on television and vivid you tube channels Namini was invited frequently across many you tube channels as a ‘Guest’, ’Collaborator’ or ‘Interviewee’ at all occasions she had overwhelmed and triumphed with dialogues in both Sinhalese and English vernaculars particularly in Siyatha and TV Derana television channels in programs as ‘Adaraneeya Jeevithe’ and ‘Strengthening Independent Commissions TPS ’ respectively. Namini had represented in “Liberal with Namini” and in many You Tube confrontations as ‘Are Lawyers Huge’, ‘QR System ‘on Asian Mirror’, ‘Divorce with Faizer Musthapa’, ‘Buddhism and Pursue Freedom’, ’Business Dialogue’, ‘News News You Tube With Neth Radio’, ’Beyond The Headline’, ’Sri Lankan Politics With Nuwan Siriwardena On Digitalization’ Etc.Etc.
In the context of the above Namini Panditha is an erudite and astute scholar, possessing a profound well versed extensive knowledge in vivid topics through diligent learning particularly in practical matters. She is someone who is quick witted one who is deeply insightful , who is academically qualified possessing practical intelligence though still very young.
