Obituary: Felix Astley Roy Fernando 05.07.1951 – 15.11.2023
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Felix Astley Roy Fernando husband of Jacqueline, loving father and father in law to Lauren & Peter, Romaine & Nick, Harry & Lyann and adored Poppy to Lena, Amy and Cheyanne.
He passed peacefully at home with his family by his side on Wednesday night at 8:40pm after a long battle with illness.
Roy was a devoted, fun loving soul, quick witted and the life of the party and remembered by those who as a vibrant community spirit who was always willing to lend a hand.
Our family would like to thank everyone for their kindness and support during this difficult time.
Funeral arrangements for Roy Fernando as follows:
Requiem Mass for the repose of the soul of Roy Fernando will be offered at St Joseph’s Catholic Church, Springvale corner of Buckingham Avenue and St James Avenue, Springvale on Thursday 23rd November at 11am.
At the conclusion of Mass, burial will be held at Springvale Botanical Cemetery, 600 Princes Highway, Springvale.
Rosary to be held at Tobin Brothers Noble Park, 505 Princes Highway Noble Park on Wednesday 22nd November at 6:30pm.
