Sanali Lihansa Silva after her triumph in a popular reality contest is now household name across the country. After popular artistes in the calibre of Corrine, Mariazelle, Mignonne and Falan Andrea lately, Sanali has emerged as a successful substitute to them by singing popular hits, baila and beat songs sung by famous singers like MS Fernando, Walter Fernando, Paul Fernando, Priya Sooriyasena etc.

Sanali Lihansa Silva, who is a popular singing sensation in the current music scene goes as Lyhanza, her stage name, comes from a musical family where her father and brother are singers, as well.

Lyhanza came into the limelight when she participated in the Derana Dream Star X1 contest, held this year. Although she wasn’t crowned the winner, she emerged as a refreshing new talent.

Sanali is currently a student in a private University studying for her bachelors in Marketing.

‘I am very keen to create my own songs with visuals. I’ve have made to understand that the trend here in Sri Lanka is the baila. Wherever I go, be it a stage show, dance, social events or a weddings, the crowd all want the baila’ Lyhanza said

Her maiden effort is an original a music video titled ‘Ridi Jalase’, under the guidance of  Ravi de Silva her media Manager she sings on invitations. Her first video song ‘Ridi Jalase’ is already played in most of the the FM radio.

However, in the near future, Lyhanza said she will also give music lovers a variety of those famous English songs and evergreens.
