Siddhalepa Provides Support at 1333 Bikeathon – Ride to Save Lives

Riders across Sri Lanka were treated to Siddhalepa Pain Relief Spray during a 13-day, 1,333-kilometre event raising awareness of the crisis support line

Siddhalepa supported riders as the official Well-Being Partner of the 12th Annual 1333 Bikeathon – Ride to Save Lives, a national event created to raise awareness about Sri Lanka’s 1333 toll-free crisis support line and to raise funds to sustain and expand its vital services, which play a key role in preventing suicide and providing emotional support. The Bikeathon commenced on August 29, 2025, at Independence Square in Colombo and concluded successfully on September 10, 2025, at the same location. The final day included a special event to welcome the riders and to mark World Suicide Prevention Day.

Throughout the 13-day journey, several awareness events were held in towns across the island, helping to educate communities about suicide prevention and mental health support. On the final evening, a candlelight ceremony was held to honour the memory of loved ones lost to suicide and to stand in solidarity with survivors, celebrating strength, healing, and the value of life.

At both the start and end of the ride, the Siddhalepa team applied Pain Relief Spray to ease muscle pain, joint aches, and body tension, giving riders relief before they began and after they completed the long journey. To support participants throughout the 1,333-kilometre, 13-day ride, Siddhalepa Pain Relief Sprays were also given to all riders at the beginning of the event, allowing them to use the spray whenever they needed relief and helping them recover and stay strong each day.

Lasanthi Jayarathna, Marketing Manager, Hettigoda Industries Pvt Ltd, said, “Supporting the 1333 Bikeathon – Ride to Save Lives has been an incredible experience. Seeing riders push through the 13-day journey while raising awareness for such an important cause reminds us why initiatives like this matter. We are glad to provide support that helps them recover and stay comfortable, and to play a role in bringing mental health and suicide prevention into the national conversation.”
