Sri Lanka hammer Zimbabwe in 3rd ODI, seal series

Sri Lanka blew away Zimbabwe, bowling the visitors out for 70 after posting 254 on the board to bounce back and wrap up the ODI series 2-1 today at the Pallekele International Cricket Stadium, Kandy.
Pathum Nissanka and Charith Asalanka half centuries set the platform for Jeffrey Vandersay to demolish Zimbabwe with the ball.
Sri Lanka won the toss and elected to bat, their openers hitting the ground running, Pathum Nissanka (55) and Kusal Mendis (36) adding some important runs.
Charith Asalanka (52) joined later in the innings to add another much needed half century.
Richard Ngarava (2/46) did what he could with the ball, slowing things down before Chamika Karunaratne (30) chipped in some more runs. Sri Lanka went in at 254/9.
There was no response from Zimbabwe as they were skittled by Sri Lanka, Jeffrey Vandersay (4/10) with phenomenal numbers.
Zimbabwe were all out for 70, Sri Lanka winning by 184 runs and winning the series 2-1.
