Sri Lankan Recipes by Curry Mad – Ambarella Jam
Ingredients
800g Ambarella fruit
1 x 2″ piece Cinnamon quill
1/2 Tsp Salt
1 Kg Sugar
2 Litres Water
Preparation
Wash the Ambarella, cut and remove the seed. Boil all the ingredients in water over low heat stirring all the while, until the mixture reaches the desired consistency. Allow to cool and bottle with labels.
