In Sri Lanka, Teachers’ Day is celebrated on October 6th every year, while many countries around the world observe World Teachers’ Day on October 5th.
Teachers are often compared to candles that burn themselves to light the way for others. They inspire students to dream big, think critically, and never give up. A good teacher not only teaches lessons from books but also imparts values such as kindness, honesty, and respect.
