Now that we have come to the end of another year and on the threshold of a New Year it’s good to reflect on the past. Some may have been struck by illness, the loss of a loved one or met with unexpected tribulations. Others may have had everything going well for them. Whatever the situation may be, we are reminded ‘In all things give thanks to God’
In a busy life it is so easy to neglect to say ‘thank you’. It seems to be human nature. Jesus healed ten lepers of their dread disease, but only one came back to say ‘thank you’
God warned his people against ungrateful hearts because that would only lead them to forgetting God and deluding themselves that they had produced the blessings by their own power and strength.
We will do well to learn to have grateful hearts. So as we count our many blessings let us give thanks to God and continue to gladly worship the Lord in the New Year.

Father, we ask You to bless our friends, relatives and email buddies reading this right now. Show them a new revelation of Your love and power. Holy Spirit, we ask You to minister to their spirit at this very moment. Where there is pain, give them Your peace and mercy. Where there is self-doubt, release a renewed confidence through Your grace. Bless their homes, families, finances, their goings and their comings. In Jesus’ precious name.
