Anthony Joseph Louis, a faithful servant of the Lord, has passed away.
I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith.” — 2 Timothy 4:7
Yet, with hearts full of hope in the resurrection, we announce the passing of Anthony.
A beloved husband, father, grandfather, and father-in-law and brother who has gone home to be with his Lord and Saviour.
Anthony, 69, and his two brothers, the late Michael and Chandra, all studied at St Peter’s College, Colombo 4.
He is survived by his loving wife, Rupika.
He was a devoted, God-fearing father to Andrew, Anthony, and Marlon; a loving father-in-law to Malisha and Enushka; and a cherished grandfather who passed down a legacy of faith to Aiden and Revayah.
Anthony was the much loved brother toJosephine (Sri Lanka), Paul Chandra (Canada), and the late Michael.
The family are deeply grateful for your continued prayers, love, and support during this difficult time. May the Lord grant us all strength and comfort, and may his soul rest in eternal peace.
Funeral details:
On Monday, 02/11/2026, the cortege will leave Mahinda Jayakody Funeral Directors at 1.30 p.m. and proceed to St. Sebastian’s Church, Moratuwa, where the Funeral Mass will be celebrated.
