YMCA Moratuwa conducts Annual Carols Service - By Bernard Fernando

Moratuwa YMCA conducted its Annual Carols Service -2024 recently at is Main hall.

The main focus was on singing of carols by the Children’s club with active participation from the Children of Idalwatte area.  They also performed a skit depicting the Birth of Baby Jesus. Carols were also sung by groups from the two Moratuwa ‘Y’s Men clubs, the YWCA Moratuwa and YMCA Moratuwa.

Rev.Chrishantha  Medis from the Methodist Church delivered the Christmas message.

An added feature was singing of Carols by a group of youth who also erected a beautiful Christmas tree at the YMCA premises. The arrival of Santa Claus too with gifts, added much joy and happiness to the audience.
