 76th Independence Day Celebrations at Marriott Hotel, Islamabad on 6th February evening

The Chief Guest was Hon Dr Nadeem Jan, Federal Minister for Public Health of Islamic Republic of Pakistan. He was welcomed by Admiral Ravi and Mrs Yamuna Wijegunaratne in traditional way saying “ AUBOWAN – May you live long.”  

Two Sri Lankan Children clad in National Dress and half- saree ( Lama Saree) welcomed Chief Guest with Beetle leaves and flowers.

Pakistan Navy Band played the National Anthems of Sri Lanka followed by Pakistan and provided Sinhala and Urdu music.
