It has been a fascinating series, dear Fitzroy, with many highlights. However, since the loss of the First Test Australia has gained more and more of a stranglehold. Kohli and Captain Rohit have become an embarrassment while Captain Cummins has become increasingly invincible. King of the Castle is putting it mildly.
The final Test is so predictable that we do not even have to bother to play it. Can’t see it going for more than 3 days. India are a demoralised side and yearning to board that plane and go home. Let’s settle down and watch Konstas having lots more fun with his ramps, etc. He is the epitomy of Cricket in 2025. Bradman would completely fail to understand it !
For the sake of the Great Game let’s hope that India puts up some sort of a fight. A final effort by Bumrah to knock over a couple of Aussies ? Perhaps something from Jaiswal to liven up the party? Yet another Aussie hiding will be too boring for words because we have seen it all before.
I am looking for a few SURPRISES instead of another obvious prediction!
