Spring water is naturally filtered by the earth through a few key processes, such as, rain water and surface water through several layers of soil and rock. Soil and rocks are natural filters of purifying water playing a distinct role by separating water from dissolved salt and other impurities. This means the contaminated nature of something will be cleaned off from insoluble solids, dust, fine sand, clay, animal particles and oil globules.
Why natural spring water are safe and clean? These springs often provide water that has been naturally filtered through the earth resulting in a clean and refreshing taste.
Bottled Water is one of the world’s most popular beverages and its industry is making the most of it. Since the Millennium, the world has advanced significantly towards the goal of safe water for all. In 2020, 74% of humanity had access to safe water. This is 10 per cent more than two decades ago. But that still leaves two billion people without access to safe drinking water.

Philip & Dammika Changed Their Minds from Food to Spring Water
“We decided to revise our initial plan. Instead of proceeding with a food processing project, we determined to focus on establishing a Bottled Water Plant. That’s how we developed “Living Spring” successfully than we thought” Philip and Dhammika explained to eLanka News.
“We supply bottled water with faith and confidence, where we have a well experienced staff and operators who are engaged in processing of bottled water from the spring to the bottling plant. Our entire team works hard and carefully with enthusiasm,” said Dammika George, Managing Director.
While explaining the project to eLanka News Australia, Philip George added …. “In early 2000, both my wife and I had an idea to set up a Food Processing Industry by using vegetables, fruits and cow milk, since all these resources are fairly available in up-country. However, finally we changed our idea to establish a Bottling Plant. Bottled water is one of the world’s most popular beverages and in providing safe water for all, especially our vast land area in Bellwood is more than enough to collect pure water from earth, that was another reason to change our mind.”
“This is a beautiful natural setting and the environment is breathtakingly beautiful, framed by lush natural surroundings. That’s why we selected this area in 2015 for the implementation of this project and commenced operation” Philip further highlighted. “Other than the tourists, hikers, campers and sports enthusiasts rely on bottled water for dehydration on the go because it is convenient and portable. We supply bottled water from Five Star Hotels to small restaurants and up to Home-stays daily” said Philip George and Dammika George – owners of the spring water project.
“We have been receiving continuous demand from various business entrepreneurs in order to supply different sizes of water bottles from our Bottling Plant. We are so happy with our genuine customers and also we are happy on our supply and distribution system too….” they further added.
