About S. Thomas’ College

S. Thomas’ College, Mount Lavinia is an Anglican Church School founded by the first Bishop of Colombo, the Rt. Rev. James Chapman, D.D. The College was established in 1851 with the vision of providing education grounded in Christian values and developing responsible citizens.

Over the generations, S. Thomas’ College has become an institution known for its rich traditions, dedication, achievement and the celebrated Thomian spirit.

About the Old Boys’ Association NSW/ACT

The S. Thomas’ College Old Boys’ Association NSW/ACT was established in 1986. The Association brings together generations of Old Thomians from S. Thomas’ College Mount Lavinia, Prep School Colpetty, Gurutalawa and Bandarawela who now live in New South Wales and the Australian Capital Territory.

The Association provides an opportunity for Old Thomians to stay connected, renew friendships, share memories and remain informed about activities associated with their respective schools and the wider Thomian community. The Association is managed by a committee elected annually.

Over the years, the NSW branch has supported the College through initiatives including donations of cricket and rugby equipment, coaching services, books and specialised coaching clinics.

Through its activities, events and online presence, the Association continues to strengthen fellowship among Old Thomians while maintaining a strong connection with the traditions and values of S. Thomas’ College.
