🌟 A BIG STEP FOR OUR DREAM VILLAGE! 🌟
What an honour!
Our Board Chair Nalika Padmasena OAM and Board Secretary Don Ravi Iddamalgoda had the privilege of meeting with the Mayor of The Hills Shire Council, Dr Michelle Byrne, at The Hills Shire Council Chambers to present our vision for the Pearl Life Care Retirement Village in Greater Sydney.
Main objective: To find a suitable land in the Hills District for our much-needed, culturally inclusive, affordable retirement village.
Nalika emphasised to the Mayor that our seniors need more than just housing — they need independent living and the freedom to culturally mingle with their own communities, speak their own language, and celebrate together.
We are humbled to share that Mayor Dr Byrne has assured us she will coordinate with the Planning Department and get back to us with feedback.
This is a huge encouragement for our not-for-profit journey!

Together, we are creating a place where our parents can live with dignity, care and culture.
Next step — our Festival of Unity & Care Charity Dinner Dance — 30th Jan 2027 at The Epping Club.All proceeds go towards feasibility studies & town planning for the village.
