An Inspirational Message for August 2025 – By Charles Schokman

Have you read your Bible today?

The Word of the Lord Endures Forever.

The Bible is often portrayed in various ways, such as a rule book or a manual for navigating life. However, it is not merely a book of rules, rituals, liturgies, prayers, doctrines, systematic theology, teachings, or personal applications. While these elements are found within its pages, the Bible is fundamentally a story from the Father, inspired by the Spirit, about the Son and His love and redemptive plan for the people He created.

“The Gospel is the good news that God our Father, the Creator, out of His great love for us, has come to rescue us from sin, Satan, death and hell, and to renew all things, in and through the work of Jesus Christ on our behalf, to establish His kingdom, through His people, in the power of the Holy Spirit. This is for God’s great glory and our great joy.” – Jon Tyson

Jesus On Every Page

In some places the references and types of Christ are obvious and sometimes they aren’t so much but He is there woven through the whole story from beginning to end.
