In a bid to promote Chamari Bay and connect with the cricket community, Athapaththu visited the Harris Park Cricket Club at Rosehill today. The star cricketer not only engaged with young and aspiring cricketers but also actively participated in a game with them. The enthusiastic young players had the unique opportunity to play alongside one of the standout performers of WBBL Season 09.

Expressing her joy at the announcement of Chamari Bay, Athapaththu said, “It feels incredible to have a stand named after me, especially at such a historic venue like the Sydney Cricket Ground. I am grateful for the support from Sydney Thunders and their fans. It was fantastic playing cricket with these passionate young cricketers at Harris Park Cricket Club. They are the future stars of the game, and I am excited to witness their journey.”
