‘Democracy in Debt’ සමග බීනා සාර්වා සහ ප්රියන්ත ප්රදීප් රණසිංහ, ජනමාධ්ය ඇමති හමුවෙයි
ජ්යෙෂ්ඨ මාධ්යවේදී ප්රියන්ත ප්රදීප් රණසිංහ විසින් සිංහලට නගන ලද, ‘Democracy in Debt: Sri Lanka – Beyond the Headlines’ අන්තර්ජාතික වාර්තා චිත්රපටයේ එම සිංහල අනුවාදය (ණය ප්රජාතන්ත්රවාදය; ශ්රී ලංකාව – සිරස්තලවලින් ඔබ්බට) ප්රදර්ශනය කිරීම සඳහා ශ්රී ලංකාවට පැමිණ සිටින, මුල් චිත්රපටයේ නිෂ්පාදිකා පකිස්ථාන බහු මාධ්ය ජන මාධ්යවේදිනී බීනා සාර්වා, 2025 ජූලි 29 දින රජයේ ප්රවෘත්ති දෙපාර්තමේන්තුවේදී ජනමාධ්ය හා සෞඛ්ය අමාත්ය වෛද්ය නලින්ද ජයතිස්ස මහතා හමුවිය. එම අවස්ථාවට ජ්යෙෂ්ඨ මාධ්යවේදී ප්රියන්ත ප්රදීප් රණසිංහ, රජයේ පවෘත්ති අධ්යක්ෂ ජෙනරාල් හර්ෂ බණ්ඩාර, ජනාධිපති මාධ්ය අධ්යක්ෂ ජෙනරාල් ප්රසන්න පෙරේරා, රූපවාහිනී සංස්ථාවේ සභාපති ගිහාන් ද සිල්වා, ස්වාධින රූපවාහිනියේ සභාපති ප්රියන්ත වෙදමුල්ල යන මහත්වරුද එක්ව සිටියහ. ජනමාධ්ය හා සෞඛ්ය අමාත්යවරයා වෙත සිංහල අනුවාදය ප්රදර්ශනය කිරීමක්ද එහිදී සිදුවිය.

Beena Sarwar and Priyantha Pradeep Ranasinghe, with ‘Democracy in Debt’
Pakistani multimedia journalist Beena Sarwar, who is in Sri Lanka to screen the Sinhala version of her international documentary ‘Democracy in Debt: Sri Lanka – Beyond the Headlines’, and senior journalist Priyantha Pradeep Ranasinghe, who is the consultant and the producer of the Sinhala Version met the Minister of Mass Media and Health, Dr. Nalinda Jayatissa, at the Government Information Department on 29 July 2025. Senior journalist Priyantha Pradeep Ranasinghe, Harsha Bandara,Government Information Director General , Prasanna Perera, Media Director General to the President, Gihan de Silva Chairman,Rupavahini Corporation, and Priyantha Wedamulla Chairman,Independent Television Network were also present at this event. The Sinhala version was also screened to the Minister of Mass Media and Health.
