Koch in the spotlight…again

Singer Alston Koch, of ‘Disco Lady’ fame, who was in town last month, in connection with a film project, was in the spotlight again when he visited Indonesia for TIME 2023, the first global summit by the World Tourism Network (WTN) and hosted by Indonesia, in Bali, from 29 to 30 September.
President of SUNx Climate Friendly Travel Club, Geoffrey Lipman, with the Chairman of the World Tourism Network, Juergen Stienmetz, had this to say about Alston:
“As part of the SUNx Climate Friendly Travel Club we are bringing in to perform, at the Gala Dinner, Asia’s ‘King Of Pop’ and Platinum award winning recording artiste Alston Koch with a brand new Climate Friendly Travel song ‘Let Me Take You To An Island’ to be released on the night dedicated to the Climate Resilience of Small Island States.”
Sri Lanka born Alston, who now resides in Australia, presented his new Climate Song and was felicitated at the Tourism Summit.
Alan St Ange, Minister for Tourism for the Seychelles and Vice President of WTN, commended Alston for his commitment to tourism.
Alston has had many chart-busters to his credit, with his mega hit ‘Disco Lady’ turning out to be synonymous with his name.
