Local Innovator Neth Dharmasiri Named Finalist in 7News People’s Choice Awards

Keen eyes will remember that I recently had the pleasure of meeting with young local Neth Dharmasiri to learn more about his social enterprise, Thadus CodeLabs, and I was blown away by what he has achieved.
Now, Neth has been named a finalist in the 7News People’s Choice Awards!
Coding is rapidly becoming as important as literacy and numeracy in preparing young people for the jobs of the future, and through Thadus CodeLabs, Neth is helping thousands of young people in rural Sri Lanka and South Africa learn to code for free.
It’s fantastic to see a young person from our community making such a significant impact on a global scale.
