News has been received on the passing away of Ranjit Wickremasinghe former Managing Director of Williams Biscuits.Ranjit together his brothers Pali and Mineka (Micky) were all students from the Basil Wiratunga era Ranjith graduated in engineering after entering the University of Ceylon in 1954 .Among his contemporaries at College were the late Gaya Cumaratunga and Eymard de.S.Wijeyaratne.
He retired a few years ago and was involved in many charitable ventures.All 3 brothers have passed away within a couple of years
