Sinhala/Hindu New Year celebrations over the weekend – Congratulations!
Let us congratulate the Sinhala Association of Queensland (SAQ) for staging one of the very successful Sinhala/Hindu New celebrations in recent years.
This whole day event was held at Mount Crosby Show Grounds. It was very well attended by both young and seniors and the active participation of young families with kids was prominently evident.
The event had a good participation of VIPs including Hon Milton Dick, Speaker of the Federal Parliament, Jess Pugh, State MP for Mount Ommaney and our own Anton Swan Hon Consul for SL in Qld and several others.
