St. Peter’s win on first innings and into semis

St. Peter’s College Bambalapitiya won on first inning against Dharmaraja College Kandy in the quarter final and advanced to the semi final of the Under 19 division 1 Tier ‘B’ inter schools cricket tournament at Royal College ground Colombo yesterday.

Shennan Rodrigo, left arm spinner of St. Peter’s claimed 6 wickets for 39 runs against Dharmaraja College Kandy in the first innings.

Thurstan College Colombo leading the first innings against Mahinda College Galle in the quarter final on day one at NSCA Cricket ground Ratmalana yesterday. Match will continue today (20) for day two.

Vihas Thewmika, Sri Lanka Youth cap and skipper of Thurstan College Colombo claimed 7 wickets for 34 runs against Mahinda College Galle.
