Sunil C De Silva was Sri Lanka’s 19th Attorney General and earned a stellar reputation as a legal scholar. He was President of the Sri Lanka Association of NSW from 1998 to 1999 and Vice President of the same organisation from 2019 to 2021. He worked hard to build harmony among the Tamil and Sinhala Communities in NSW and Sri Lanka. He openly advocated for the Human Rights of Tamil people.
