"THREE-WAY LOVE AFFAIR" by Desmond Kelly 'the Star of eLanka'

What, with the “same-sex” marriage controversy quickly coming to a head in Australia, I thought it necessary that our eLanka readers be given some. sort of insight into a 3-way love affair that , unlike the usual love affairs between boy & girl & boy & boy, or girl & girl, was strangely frowned upon in our modern Western Society & still is, believe it or not.

“Same-Sex” love affairs have been going on since the year “dot”, The same applies to love affairs of “heterosexual” couples. In many other Countries, a man was permitted to have a “harem” with as many wives/or lovers as he could afford, half his bloody luck, but, generally having 3,4 & 5 way love affairs were strictly forbidden, but did that stop us ?, no, not on your Nelly, Kelly. As far as this writer was concerned, of course, they were strictly heterosexual affairs & “he” was lucky indeed to be “involved” with some of the most beautiful girls on this Planet of ours.

Taking this a little bit further, “Marriage” was another thing altogether. “Same-Sex” marriages have been “legalized” now in about 24 different Countries & Australia is struggling to “come to grips” with the decision . Millions have been spent on this “yes/no” vote. Why, in the hell do these “homosexual” people want to spoil “a good thing”, by getting married , is a mystery to me. These days, my friends, a “marriage-certificate” counts for almost nothing. 52% of heterosexual couples are now the “Stars” of the divorce-courts, about 40% are living “de-facto” & only about 8% are living “happily ever after”. “Stars” of “Stage & Screen” get married 4 & 5 times only because they are simpletons who know not, how to spend their money.

After 81 years on Earth, my advice to everyone “out there” is this. EVERYONE has but ONE life.

Nothing very “Einstienish”about that, but one must learn to live that “life” to it’s fullest. MONEY does not necessarily mean that this is the only way one can have a “full-life”. The trick here, is to be “happy” with whatever you have, make mistakes, but then, try to correct them as best you can, & “do unto others, as you would, they do unto you”. “Don’t worry, be happy” , was a famous quote in the Country that I was born. Beautiful, breathtaking, Ceylon, now Sri Lanka.

Finally, to make a long story short, it is not because my name is KELLY & I am very proud of that name, BUT, another Irish “Country-Star” by the name of Declan Nerney sings the song that “tells the story” about the “title” of this particular article . Still another Irishman getting into trouble with “a three-way love affair”.

The one I love, has someone else, who doesn’t seem to care

Won’t someone help me through this tragic three-way love affair ?

So, without the one I really love, this pain is hard to bear

Won’t someone help me through this tragic three-way l8ve affair ?
