About Thadus CodeLabs
Thadus CodeLabs is a social enterprise founded by high school students Neth and Chinmay on the belief that a child’s access to digital education should not be determined by their postcode or internet connection.
The pair designed and built Thadus, a fully offline coding application that runs on standard laptops without internet access.
In January 2026, in partnership with the Foundation of Goodness, the programme reached 300 children across Sri Lanka’s most rural communities through 21 Village Empowerment Centres.
Today, Thadus CodeLabs is expanding internationally and has begun deployments in South Africa through various partnerships. The initiative has also been featured by ABC News, highlighting its growing global impact.
