YOUNG THARINDU BANDARA A VOCALIST, ALREADY A GENIUS IN COMPOSING MUSIC MELODIES IN A SPARKING VOYAGE – By Sunil Thenabadu
It is an accepted spectacle for any individual to be a legend in any field to have acquired hereditary affiliations from family adherents or ancestors which is a laid down norm. The already blossoming music career of young modest Tharindu Bandara is no exception. At such a young age of only thirty years Tharindu domiciled in Mawanella has already established himself in the music arena having composed music tracks of over six hundred for himself as a talented vocalist and for many renowned singers like Subhani Harshini, K Sujeewa, Yashoda Priyadarshini also to a bit lesser known talented vocalists like Thushara Subasinghe,Rukman Asitha,Aksha Chamudi and others. There have been millions of U tube viewers for these music videos . All these music tracks have been recorded in Tharindu’s own fully fledged studio ‘TB Recordz’
Tharindu Bandara was born on 02nd June 1993 to humble parents in Mawanella has only a solitary sibling a brother. Unfortunately his father had died following a heart attack over a decade ago Today Tharindu had been the sole breadwinner in the family through his earnings in music compositions has had his education at three schools v.i.z.n Sujatha Vidyalaya,Rambukkana,Rivisada Vidyalaya and Balawathagma Vidyalaya in Mawanella. His mother had been a renowned vocalist having sung in a music group, mother’s sisters too and his brother are also competent in singing. Also, the family members could play many music instruments excelling in the violin. Tharindu had opted to study music for his advanced level as for his gigantic passion for music. In the lower classes had been a music passionate student been able to sing and play many musical instruments , the guitar taking pride of place. When in Grade eleven had composed a music track which was a premonition to his future heroics. This is ample testimony that Tharindu had acquired music instincts from hereditary affiliations to unprecedented tall elevations via talents of his maternal counterparts. Tharindu via his own insistence had developed his musical repertoire during the past decade to unbelievable lofty magnitudes which he commenced when he was still a schoolboy in lower grades.
Since leaving school Tharindu had travelled to Colombo in search of a recording studio with a musician as there were no reputed music studios in his native Mawanella area ,as he was particularly keen to record his own songs. In a Colombo studio he had recorded a few songs the first of which was ‘Sithe Pathulen”.This was a boost to his career in music through which he has to date been able to compose music tracks for himself and many artistes both known and novice singers, all music videos made by production houses have been subscribed by a huge amount of music fanatics which are in his U tube channel.
Tharindu affirms that his entire life revolves around music from his childhood , with the rapidity of his creations at this young age his becoming a legend in the music arena is assured. A few of the songs Tharindu himself had sung are “Irthuwak Wee Nam Man”, which is popular with around 3,5 million viewers which was released to his ‘TB Recordz’ U tube channel. This song is learnt had gone viral in Sri Lanka as it was released over two years ago,’ILsara’ song too became a hit with millions of viewers in his U tube channel and in other many social media platforms,’ Tik Tok’ etc.The titles of his other solo songs sung subsequently were “Re Ahase”,”Ma Sith Ahase”,”Nura Ambare”,”Aie Giye Hera Dama”,”Mal Vehi Warusa”,”Madu”,”Wetena Husma Pawa”,”Thaththe Man Adare”. Tharindu hopes to release two more songs sung to his own music melodies named “Aslema” and “Saira” recorded in his own studio “TB Recordz” which would be given to production houses to be made music videos. The lyricists of his own songs and the other songs to which he made music compositions the lyrics were mostly by lyricists all up and coming talented novices like Pradeep Dissanayake,Kasun David,Thambvita Chandima thero,Chathu Bandara,Millaththawe Sujatha Himi,Chandani Kodituwakku etc.
Tharindu had composed varied music tracks having a variety which soothes penetrating the ear of listeners. Out of over six hundred music compositions he had made, many popular vocalists along with some talented novice singers’ have voiced them , recorded them in the “ TB Redordz” studio owned by him.The music video have been undertaken by proficient production houses which have been made to precision. The title of the songs for which he made music melodies sung by acclaimed singers like Subani Harshini who emerged over two decades ago also renowned K Sujeewa and Derana Dream Star runner up Yashoda Priyadarshini .All such recorded songs by Tharindu were made into attractive music videos by many production houses.The titles of these songs are “Ron Soyana”,”Kiyanna Himiyani”,”Nidukanani”, “Piyarajuni”, ( both were hits in Sri Lanka), having eleven million viewers in the U tube with many overseas viewers too. The names of some other songs which became hits are “Appachchi”, Chuthi Wewa” a Christmas song,”Dan Hithata Sathutuda”,”Waradicthcha Jeevithe”,”Amanapakam” etc. etc.
To Tharindu music is his entire life which he enjoys to the supreme which comes natural to him through hereditary affiliations. Music as proved is a Therapy which soothes people’s minds which is ideally Tharindu’s motive too is with heart touching melodies. When the music exertion of Tharindu over the past decade is analysed he has achieved much more than many of his counterparts. With over six hundred music melodies already made in his musical journey, with this enthusiasm cum eventual passion he is on track to be a music legend. Tharindu had reiterated very humbly that his success is owing to been updated and dedication to his job. There are so many genres of music in the world like Rock, Pop, Jazz, Country and Western, Ragadari, Popular music ,Latin, Blues, Classical etc which all musicians should be familiar with.
