Melbourne Cup, the race that stops the nation is an exciting day in Australia. –  By TREVINE RODRIGO IN MELBOURNE

Melbourne Cup

Trevine Rodrigo | elankaMelbourne Cup, the race that stops the nation is an exciting day in Australia. It’s a day that even non punter’s like me splurge on a bet not knowing the difference between a horse and a mare. 🤣.
And, a has been tradition over many years, and the next thing to being at Flemmington Racecourse is to watch it live on Telly while enjoying a day out at Philomena and Ruwanal’s in Keysborough. Bets aplenty while the racing is on.
It was a great get-together as usual, with plenty of finger food brought in by guests and the hosts and a few drinks to celebrate the occasion.
Managed to win some and lose some. But snared all three in one ticket to recover some of our losses.
Straight on to the T20 World Cup cricket thereafter, Sri Lanka vs Afghanistan. Two wins out of two for us.😊
Thanks Philomena and Ruwanal for another great day at the races.
