Oh what a fantastic effort by Shanali Gomes ( nee Krishnaratne)
The music by Lisa Crouch and Feeling Alright attracted the younger ones and the not so young on the floor .
On behalf of all the OGs in Sydney & ACT may I say a big Thank you to Shanali for her choice of the Band,Caterer and Venue.
As for Decor , I was not surprised as I was aware it was her forte. In 1999 Shanali made the Uni if NSW Round House a Wonderland for the SLA Winter Ball..But I will be failing in my duty if I don’t mention her friend Maureen who helped her with the decor for our Winter Wonderland.
A special word of appreciation to the tireless Fran (Mrs Claus) who did the setting up..
To Alan for being there at hand for anything Shanali wanted done.
These friends of Shanali ‘s from her neighbourhood in the Central Coast and Dancing Class , deserve the grateful thanks of all LCites.
To the caterer, Dish for a sumptuous meal and the staff on duty on Sunday..Thank you guys..Well Done
To all the Choristers of yesteryear …you made us proud..What a superb rendition of the School Hymn.
Thank you one and all for your support. To All the non OG friends of Anoji who stayed back to help with the clearing.. Thank you!
