Sri Lankan Team Wins Zhang Heng Award for Engineering Design, Places Sixth in Global Robotics Competition – By Our Economics

Competing against 193 countries, the team— Raveen Akuretiyawa, Tharul Senanayake, Heveen Ramachandra, Supul Baddegama and Malik Radigal—won the Zhang Heng Award for Engineering Design.
They also placed sixth overall in the competition, which featured over 100 participants.
The Global Challenge Robotics Competition focuses on engaging young people in solving real-world problems through technology.
