Winter Social Gathering – One Community, One Beat
The Western (VIC) Tamils Seniors Club held its Winter Social Gathering on Saturday, 15 August 2026. It was a memorable evening of creativity, music, dancing, friendship and community spirit.
Logan Nathan served as the Master of Ceremonies, guiding the entire program and keeping the evening moving smoothly.
The gathering began with a warm welcome and introduction by the Club President, Kulendran.
Divya then conducted a one-hour photo-frame art painting session. Members enthusiastically explored their creativity, transforming simple frames into colourful personal keepsakes. The concentration, laughter and pride around the tables showed how much everyone enjoyed the experience.
The gathering was then treated to a wonderful musical performance by Java and her music partner, who entertained everyone with a selection of Bollywood songs.
Club Secretary Sharma delivered the vote of thanks, acknowledging those who organised, supported and contributed to the gathering.
Following dinner, Divya and Logan coordinated the open dancing session. The music brought members onto the floor, creating a lively and cheerful finish to the evening.
A special feature of the celebration was “One Beat Tonight,” an original song created especially for the event. Logan Nathan crafted the lyrics and musical style and used AI to help bring the finished song to life. It captured the evening’s spirit beautifully different people, shared memories and one community moving together.
Special thanks go to Suresh for providing and managing the sound system throughout the program. We also thank President Kulendran, Secretary Sharma, Divya, Java and her music partner, the organisers, volunteers and everyone who helped behind the scenes.
Most importantly, thank you to all the members and guests who attended. Your energy, participation and friendship made the Winter Social Gathering a truly memorable celebration.
