The gruelling Derana Dream Star Season 12 competition has now reached the final stages with the l five contestants elected three female and two male artistes purely by the votes cast by the music fraternity. The final five includes two males and three female contestants,one formidable contestant is Janani Imathma.
The most formidable contestant Janani has been determined by the sMS votes and comments of the panel of adjudicators V.i.Z, Keerthi Pasquel,Samitha Mudunkotuwa, Indrachaapa Liyanage, Nadeeka Guruge, Samantha Perera and Kushani Sandareka To date Janani appears to have received the most virtuous comments…
Janani is twenty one years old a past student of Viharamahadevi Balika in Kiribathgoda where her mother Wasantha Kumarahami is the music teacher in the same school.Her father is Sujeewa Ranasinghe is a senior lecturer at the university of visual and performing arts, popularly acknowledged as an expert Esraj player where he had excelled in many musical concerts. As the parental duo are prominent musicians it is quite natural for Janani to acquire music instincts through hereditary affiliations. Janani could sing songs of any artiste as proved by her singing varied songs during the contest of many varied male and female vocalists to receive always high accolades from the panel of adjudicators for her perfect pitching while singing.Janani had become the runner up in the Derana Little star year 2016.
After leaving school she had acquired adequate results to enter the university of visual and performing arts or the university Sri Jayewardenepura .Although her applications were accepted by both universities she could not enter her preferred Sri Jayewardenepura university as she was involved with the gruelling Derana Dream Star season 12 competition,Owing to her busy schedule at the on going reality competition she has not found time to contribute her songs though she has recorded so many cover songs.
In the contest of the above Janani Imathma has made an cherished name with her sterling performances at the gruelling Derana Dream Star season 12 contest is certain to make rigid name in Sri Lanka’s music field.
