Aus Day 2024 – Musical Concert – 6.30 PM Saturday 26 October 2024 Joan Sutherland Performing Arts Centre, Penrith NSW – Free for Public
Aus Sri 2024 musical concert will be held at Joan Sutherland performing Arts Centre , Penrith on Saturday 26th October 2024 starting from 6.30 pm showcasing young artists from Sri Lanka and Sydney ,Australia working with established artists. Chief Gest of the program is Hon Prue Car MP, Deputy Premier of NSW Government , Minister for Education and Minister for Western Sydney.
This concert is presented by Sydney based Australian Capacity and Partnership Building Company Pty Ltd in partnership with St Dominics College ,Penrith NSW Australia. Sri Lankan team – Aus Sri Musical band – consists of 15 members including 13 young artists ,musicians and singers together with music co-coordinator – Ms Pushpani Wijewickrama and music director Lesly Wijewickrama who have more than 40 years skills and experience as music teachers and performance creators for various stage shows and TV stations. Sydney based Visarad Rukmalie Kulathilaka, renowned Sitar player provides leadership for Sydney upcoming artists as the Music Director while Chris Wilson ,Head of Music Department of St Dominics College provides leadership for creating western musical items as Music Director -Western Music .
