Australia tour of Sri Lanka 2016 Fixtures

Australia tour of Sri Lanka 2016

The Australian cricket team are expected to depart on July 11 for Sri Lanka, where they will play a Test, ODI and T20 series.

Australia’s two-month long tour of Sri Lanka begins with the first Test of the three-match series on July 26 at Pallekele.

The second Test in Galle begins on August 4, while the third Test gets underway in Colombo on August 13.

The first two matches of the five-match ODI series will be held n Colombo on August 21 and 24. The teams then head to Dambulla for the third and fourth ODIs, which will be played on August 28 and 31.

The final ODI and the first T20I of the two-match T20I series will be held in Pallekele on September 4 and 6, with the final T20I being held in Colombo on September 9.

Full schedule is as follows:

Jul 26 – 1st Test – Pallekele International Cricket Stadium, Pallekele
Aug 4 – 2nd Test – Galle International Stadium, Galle
Aug 13 – 3rd Test – Sinhalese Sports Club Ground, Colombo
Aug 21 – 1st ODI – R Premadasa Stadium, Colombo
Aug 24 – 2nd ODI – R Premadasa Stadium, Colombo
Aug 28 – 3rd ODI – Rangiri Dambulla International Stadium
Aug 31 – 4th ODI – Rangiri Dambulla International Stadium
Sep 4 – 5th ODI – Pallekele International Cricket Stadium
Sep 6 – 1st T20I – Pallekele International Cricket Stadium
Sep 9 – 2nd T20I – R Premadasa Stadium, Colombo
