BOOK ON OMAN-SRI LANKA RELATIONS LAUNCHED
The Foreign Minister today organised the inaugural ceremony for a book title ” Sri Lanka Oman Relations: The Past ,Present , And Future “. The book launch marks the 40th anniversary of establishment of relations between the two countries . Authored by Omar Lebbe at the end of his term as Ambassador of the Republic of Sri Lanka to the Sultanate of Oman , the book explores the history of bilateral relation and include s input from the ambassador’s own memories in oman . The ceremony was attended by shaikh khalif bin Ali al Harthy , Foreign Ministry’s Under – Secretary for Diplomatic Affairs , as well as ambassadors of Arab and friendly countries accredited to Oman . – ONA
