“THE PALACE”

“EXTRAORDINARY”, is perhaps the most unique description of this building in the heart of London. My thanks to Chris. Lawton who recently forwarded this astounding video of the “place” that is more or less the home and office of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth the 2nd, the longest reigning Monarch in history to date. This palace, plus all the other magnificent castles, etcetera, that are owned by this Queen is a worthwhile reward for a Monarch who, in my opinion, fully deserves everything she has been granted in life, as she has practically given all her long years in life, simply to benefit her people, both in England, and the Commonwealth of Countries that come under her reign. Queen Elizabeth has been a most praiseworthy Ruler, having promised her Father, King George the 6th, at a very early age, to “hold the crown” in his honour for the rest of her life. He could not have wanted a more worthwhile successor.

British Royal History is a most interesting topic of conversation, now matched by amazing visual stunners such as Buckingham Palace, so, once again, thank you Chris. I am sure that this video would be something special for all e’Lanka readers everywhere, especially those who personally would not be able to visit “THE PALACE”

Thank you for sending in this very interesting video about the most elaborate residence in England, Chris. Lawton (O.A.M.). I feel that you have had the chance to tour this magnificent building, while in the Royal Ceylon Navy

so many years ago, one of the reasons perhaps, that you wish all the rest of us to be able to see just one of the main residences of Her Majesty, the Queen of England & the Commonwealth of Nations around the World. I feel that everyone connected with eLanka also, will say a big “thank you” to you, again.

We always enjoy reading or watching snippets of good news, especially now, in a somewhat dreary World, and this Royal Residence Buckingham Palace is certainly something WELL WORTH WATCHING.
