Melbourne’s massive Sri Lankan community gears up for another Valentine’s day celebration that reinforces the magic of love between couples in love.
And this year’s celebrations will see hundreds flock to different venues to remember that special day dedicated to Cupid, the God of love.
What will definitely take centre stage will be a food feast planned by Springvale RSL organised by Annie and Chris Cannon’s Thai Street Food and RSL head Chef John Fernando who are planning a gastromic experience that will be hard to parallel at an affordable price.
John Fernando assures me patrons will experience an unforgettable menu with the added delight of Thai Street Food in Bentleigh. “We promise to deliver an international culinary experience that has no parallel”, he said. A look at the menu will confirm a feast to suit every palate.
Well, food will not be the only focus, as the organisers have teamed up with Shehara and George Rodrigo of Redemption who will set the mood for the occasion. They are a talented duo that will certainly deliver the mood for romance.
