Thomian Carol Service 2025 — A Festival of Nine Lessons & Carols

Dear Fellow Thomians, Family and friends,
You are warmly invited to a beloved Thomian tradition — the Seventeenth Thomian Carol Service, A Festival of Nine Lessons and Carols, presented by the Thomian Choir of the S. Thomas’ College Old Boys’ Association NSW/ACT.
Date: Saturday, 29th November 2025
Time: 6:30 PM
Venue: All Saints Church, Parramatta (29 Elizabeth Street, Parramatta)
As we gather once again in the spirit of Christmas, we celebrate a tradition that continues to inspire generations, a festival of the ‘word’, praise, carols, and a special message reminding us of the eternal significance of God’s love revealed in Christ.
This year’s Christmas message will be delivered by The Reverend Simon Manchester, former Rector of St Thomas’ Anglican Church, North Sydney — a preacher known for his deep biblical insight and inspiring clarity of faith. His message will set the tone for an evening of praise, reflection, and blessing.
The Thomian Choir, under the masterful direction of David Sansoni and accompanied by Nicholas Morley on the organ, will once again bring to life a programme of traditional and contemporary carols, rich in harmony and spirit. Together, they will lead us in a musical offering that both honours the past and celebrates the living faith that binds us as Thomians.
As the article A Festival of Grace and Glory so beautifully reminds us, this cherished service is more than a concert — it is a sacred retelling of the story of hope and redemption, uniting hearts in joy and thanksgiving.
Come with family and friends. Join us in song and fellowship as we prepare our hearts for Christmas and lift our voices in gratitude for God’s abiding grace.
Let us make this year’s service a true celebration of faith, unity, and the enduring Thomian spirit.
