“WITHIN A STONE’S THROW”

The beautiful land as I remember it, complete with an early ancestor whose people, the Veddhas had already resided there for thousands of years before Prince Vijaya decided to settle there, as well. Who would not want to live there ?!!,

The tiny Island that was favourably compared with the Garden of Eden, whose people, this writer included, were extremely lucky to be born within easy reach of Gal Oya or “Stone- River or Lake” as the name suggests. CEYLON, as it was known, was a Mother-land like no other. Presenting now, a fraction of the scenic beauty, for your pleasure.Sit back, relax and enjoy this video, especially, all of the valued Members and avid Readers of e’Lanka.
