Melbourne Storm: Defying History, Chasing Glory – By TREVINE RODRIGO IN MELBOURNE. (eLanka Sports Editor).
My wonderful Melbourne Storm.
What an incredible NRL team, and a motivated team oriented outfit that continues to baffle the NRL.
They continue to be challenged by teams trying their utmost to derail their fantastic record as one of the greatest teams to ever play the game, despite being the new kids on the block.
Queensland and New South Wales have dominated this game over the decades, but the Storm, in a AFL dominated state, are on a mission to change much of that priority and history.
Today’s foray to another Grand final against a gallant Cronulla Sharks, makes this team one of the best in its limited history.
Thank you incredible coach Craig Bellamy and a switched on Storm boys led by indpirational Skipper Jerome Hughes, Cameron Munster, mastermind, Harry Grant, Xavier Coates, Ryan Pappy and a dominant Storm team that was switched on to make it another historic grand final entry. Missed the brute force of Nelson Asofa Solomona who will be sorely missed in the Grand final.
The pride of Melbourne sport ever.
Win or lose , my mind and body bleeds purple. Upwards and onwards Storm boys.
