Moroccan team was shown love their mothers on the field. They are normalizing this joy and beauty of showing affection and care to their moms. It’s beautiful and so refreshing to see on the international stage. So many caricatures of angry Muslim and Arab men have been normalized who don’t show affection and love to women, who don’t have joy and beauty and this type of display shatters that narrative!
