RESEARCH PAPER TO SATISFY MY CURIOSITY THE HOLY QURAN- MATHEMETACAL FRAMEWORK – By Tass Thassim
Greetings
Dear all
Firstly, I share with you my AI (“Gemini” THE MICROSOFT VERSION OF ChatGT) research paper of the HOLY QURAN- MATHEMETACAL MIRACLE / FRAMEWORK
Secondly may I assure you that the Research Paper is NOT a debate or promotion of about ISLAM in any shape or form
Thirdly may I confirm to be comprehensive – that there are several papers on the COMPARATIVE RELIGIOUS TEXT STUDIES FROM A MATHEMETICAL VIEWPOINT of the Torah, Bible, and of religious texts on Hinduism and Buddhism.
In this instance there are there several published studies exploring the TORAH or the BIBLE in relative to mathematical viewpoint. Though the nature and rigor of these studies vary significantly.
conclusion, while perhaps not as mainstream as mathematical studies of the Abrahamic religions, there are indeed published works that explore Hindu and Buddhist religious texts from mathematical viewpoints,
ranging from analysing numerical patterns and symbolism to investigating potential mathematical structures within the texts themselves and the mathematical systems that developed in these cultural contexts.
Fourthly may I say that in Islam The Holy Quran is the WORD OF ALLAH THE ONE AND ONLY GOD, / LORD AND CREATOR
Fifthly Some call it a MATHEMATICAL MIRACLE. I WOULD LIKE TO REFER IT AS THE MATHEMATICAL FRAMEWORK OF GOD IN REVEALING HIS MESSAGE TO PROPHET MOHAMED (PBUH) FOR ALL OF MANKIND.
BACKGROUND FOR THE RESEARCH PAPER
1 I Received a WhatsApp video to illustrate the mathematical miracle of the Holy Quran.
2 I shared with a few friends and scholar’s asking if the video message was real or fake news.
3 Most of them did not respond and ignored my reaching out to them.
4 My grandnephew Atif Salahudeen (Washington DC did respond and said to go and check by downloading “The holy quran.com”
5 Fazli Sameer (Colombo) stated that many of the math miracles are NOT needed if you have faith in ISLAM. Also referred to claims by Rashad Khalifa who lack scientific rigor and NOT supported by Islamic scholars.
6 Ferial Salahudeen (Washington DC) my niece referred me to a convert who had written extensively on Islam: (A/Prof Jeffery Lang) , which did not help with my curiosity
7 Shameemah Suhail (London) stated that these sorts of videos are inspiring but how factually correct is hard for us to prove
8 Iffaaazz Salahudeen commented on the ONE discrepancy noted in the sample Table below table below (the Word PRAYER)
As an example, Salat: As per your finding, there is a discrepancy: 5 verses 67.
Depending on which paper or book you refer to, there are differences of opinions of the correct numbers.
That is mainly because how you collect the data – as singular, plural or verb. I provide below some references as well.
Prayer is mentioned 99 Times In Quran. 12 times as verb (صَلَّىٰ), Eighty Three times as the noun (صَلَوٰة), One time as the noun (مُصَلًّى) And 3 times as participle (مُصَلِّين)
9 None denied or confirmed that the CHATGT Video was fake or real.
10 This got my curiosity going leading up to my doing the research for myself which I now share with you.
COMPAPRISON OF CHATGT VIDEO COUNT OF WORD OCCURANCE IN THE Quran TEXT
The CHATGT video quoted 9 selected phrases/words and the count as it was mentioned in the Holy Quran as a mathematical proof of the Holy Quran
- I tried to repeat the count of usage by using The Holy Quran.com. But failed since it only stated where phrase/word was in the text of the of the Holy Quran
- I then used AI GEMINI which gave me the count of the phrases/word as it appeared in the text of the Holy Quran
- The TABLE BELOW IS A COMPARISON OF the 9 phares/word Counts, used in the ChatGT video and my sample for the research
- Only 1 Phrase / Word “PRAYER” Did not match (See item 10 Listed IN THE table below) Others all matched equally.
TABLE BELOW IS A MATHEMETICAL COMPARISON of AI CHATGT VS GEMINI WORD COUNT IN THE TEXT OF THE HOLY QURAN

WHAT ARE THE MATHEMETICAL COINCEDENCES OF 9 SELECTED SAMPLE COMMON WORDS IN THE HOLY QURAN?
1.The Quran contains several fascinating numerical patterns and “mathematical coincidences” that many find remarkable. Here are some examples:
2. The word “day” (يوم) is mentioned 365 times, corresponding to the number of days in a solar year. Its plural forms, “days” (أيام), appear 30 times, matching the number of days in a month.
3. The word “month” (شهر) is mentioned 12 times, aligning with the number of months in a year.
4. The words “man” (رجل) and “woman” (امرأة) are each mentioned 23 times, which is significant as humans inherit 23 chromosomes from each parent.
5.The words “world” (الدنيا) and “hereafter” (الآخرة) are both mentioned 115 times, symbolizing their balance in Islamic teachings.
6. The Number “19” is mentioned and applied to many letters, and combination of words and chapters etc: most of them
originally expressed by a Lebanese man Rashad Khalifa which was not fully accepted by later scholars,
7. These patterns are often cited as examples of the Quran’s intricate structure and depth FRAMWORK. What do you think about these connections?
CONCLUSION
1.My Conclusion is to call this research as the proof of the MATEHEMATICAL FRAMEWORK and NOT a MATHEMATICAL MIRACLE of the Holy Quran
1.The Holy Quran was revealed over 1400 years ago.
2. Item 1 and 2 of the TABLE Day / And Month is 365 and 12.
3.The Gregorian calendar was only developed in 1582 which the Holy Quran accurately foretold 972 years in advance!!
The Holy Quran, revered by Muslims as the literal word of God (Allah), is believed to possess numerous miracles that serve as evidence of its divine origin and the prophethood of Muhammad (peace be upon him). These miracles are generally categorized into several types: 1. Linguistic and Literary Miracle (I’jaz al-Quran): Unparalleled Eloquence and Style: The Quran’s Arabic language is considered by many to be of unmatched beauty, eloquence, and literary perfection. Its unique style, rhythm, rhyme (where present), and the powerful impact of its verses are said to be inimitable by human beings. Classical and contemporary Arab scholars and linguists have attested to its exceptional literary merit, even those who do not believe in its divine origin.Challenge to Produce a Similar Work: The Quran itself challenges those who doubt its divine origin to produce a single chapter (Surah) of similar eloquence and literary merit. This challenge has remained unmet for over 14 centuries, which Muslims consider a powerful miracle.Perfect Preservation of Language: The Arabic language of the Quran has been perfectly preserved since its revelation. Unlike other ancient texts, its language has not undergone significant changes, which is seen as extraordinary.
Structural Symmetry and Cohesion: The Quran exhibits intricate structural patterns, including ring compositions in some chapters, where the beginning and end of a section mirror each other, with the central theme in the middle. This sophisticated structure contributes to the text’s coherence and memorability.
Many Muslims and some scholars argue that the Quran contains verses that allude to scientific facts and discoveries made centuries after its revelation. These alleged scientific miracles cover a wide range of fields:Cosmology: Verses describing the creation of the universe from a single mass (Big Bang theory), the expansion of the universe, and the eventual end of the universe are cited as aligning with modern cosmology.Astronomy: Mentions of the spherical shape of the Earth, the orbits of the sun and moon, and the concept of celestial bodies moving in their own paths are seen as scientifically accurate.
Embryology: Detailed descriptions of the stages of human embryonic development in the Quran are claimed to correspond with modern embryological findings.Geology: Verses discussing the role of mountains as stabilizers of the Earth (plate tectonics) and the presence of resources like iron being “sent down” (originating from supernovae) are highlighted.
Oceanography: References to the meeting of fresh and saltwater bodies with a barrier between them and the darkness in the deep seas are considered consistent with oceanographic discoveries.
Biology: Statements about water being the origin of all life are seen as a fundamental biological truth.
It is important to note that the interpretation of Quranic verses as scientific miracles is a subject of ongoing discussion. Some scholars view these verses as broad statements that can be interpreted in light of later scientific discoveries, while others are more critical, arguing that these interpretations can sometimes be forced or taken out of context.
3. Historical and Prophetic Miracles:Accurate Historical Accounts: The Quran contains accounts of past prophets and civilizations that some argue have been confirmed by archaeological and historical findings.
Prophecies: Certain verses are interpreted as prophecies that have been fulfilled over time, such as the Roman victory over the Persians (Surah Ar-Rum) and the eventual triumph of Islam.
4. The Miracle of its Impact and Influence:
Transformation of Individuals and Societies: Muslims believe that the Quran has had a profound and transformative impact on the lives of individuals and the development of societies throughout history, guiding moral, ethical, and legal principles.
Widespread Memorization: The fact that millions of Muslims across the globe have memorized the entire Quran is considered unique and a testament to its miraculous nature and ease of remembrance.
Unity and Guidance: The Quran serves as a central unifying force for Muslims worldwide, providing guidance and a framework for their faith and life.
In conclusion, Muslims consider the Holy Quran to be a multifaceted miracle, encompassing
I.its linguistic perfection,
I.its perceived alignment with scientific knowledge,
II. its historical accounts and prophecies,
III. and its profound impact on humanity.
While the interpretation and acceptance of these miracles vary,
they collectively form a significant aspect of the Islamic faith and the belief in the Holy Quran’s divine origin.
