On Saturday the 7^th October 2017 SCATS NSW presented “Rhythms in Concert” at the Blue Elephant Auditorium in Pennant Hills to felicitate the well known vocalist in Sydney, Bonny Fernando for his voluntary contributions in entertainment within the community of Sri Lankan origin.

The function was house full with an elegant audience to enjoy “Golden Oldies” in a mix of Western & Eastern music of the sixties & seventies. A session of “Sing Song” together with Bonny and Sri Lankan hip-hop Baila were well received to have packed the floor with young & old couples swaying nonstop with enthusiasm.

A sumptuous buffet with entrees, wine and soft drinks awaited to treat the needs.

The well presented souvenir included the life story of Bonny Fernando who has been a pioneer in supporting many an association during their inceptions, mentioning his generosity in contributions to almost all the public functions in his capacity of entertainment within a span of 25 years.

The “Ronny Dandan Band” and “Hearbeatz” backed the vocalists with a grand array of music keeping the happy crowd bubbly & vibrant till around the midnight.
