SHEPHERDIANS, HAVE DONE IT AGAIN!!! Good Shepherd Convent has set the bar high with its dinner dances, and this year again, was no exception!
Shepherdian Summer Breeze presented by Good Shepherd Convent, Past Pupils Association of NSW, on 12th November 22 at Cherrybrook was a great success.
It was an amazing night, with guests dancing the night away to the sound of 5piece band VIVO. The Sri Lankan Baila competition spiced up the music and dancing and made the night even more memorable.
Flavour of Ceylon dished out a scrumptious 3 course Sri Lankan cuisine that got every taste bud dancing!!!
The overwhelming support of the community with their generous donations to the raffle prizes was outstanding and made the night sizzle with excitement.
The Shepherdian Summer Breeze was a great success due to the hardworking committee members led by the able and passionate current President of the Association, Pauline Corea. The committee included Deanna, Kirijah, Subo, Eileen, Shirani, Bernadette, Daphne, Anne, Marie, Ranjini, Vinuka & Shurmara who have worked extremely hard to make this event a great success.
Last but not least, we know that the funds raised will help to support some of the less privileged girls of our school with a formal education, which will equip them to achieve their goals and move to higher ground as adults.
