Siddhalepa Supports Kandy Esala Perahera with Ayurveda and Community Initiatives
Kandy, Sri Lanka, August 2025 – The Hettigoda Group of Companies, through its flagship brand Siddhalepa, extended its long-standing commitment to Ayurveda and community care during this year’s historic Kandy Esala Perahera, held from the 4th to the 8th of August.
Staying true to its vision of serving both people and tradition, Siddhalepa supported devotees, performers, and the wider community with a series of impactful CSR initiatives. More than 200,000 people were treated with refreshing Siddhalepa Asamodagam, paired with tea, and the trusted Siddhalepa Balm, ensuring relief and comfort throughout the festivities.
In recognition of the immense dedication of the Perahera artists, Siddhalepa’s Suwa Sewa service provided Ayurvedic care through Siddhalepa Asamodagam and Siddhalepa balm applications. All participating artists were honoured with reward certificates appreciating their invaluable contributions.
Further strengthening its commitment to environmental and public welfare, Siddhalepa donated 50 waste management bins for effective waste recycling and provided police instruction boards to assist in crowd safety and the smooth conduct of the event.
The Kandy Esala Perahera is not only a sacred cultural celebration but also a gathering of thousands who deserve care, comfort, and safety. As a brand rooted in Ayurveda and community wellbeing, Siddhalepa is honoured to contribute meaningfully to this timeless tradition.
