St. Elizabeth’s Church in Dandenong North staged a wonderful night of music and dancing complemented by a delectable smorgasbord dinner at the beautifully decorated and spacious parish hall.
Around 380 guests were treated to a night of music at its best by ever popular dance band Next Generation who are a highly talented set-up.
The hard-working committee put in a tireless effort and made it a colourful night that drew rave reviews from most of those who attended the popular annual event that would have shaded many functions in the Melbourne dance scene.
“It’s nice to see the overwhelming numbers that wanted to take in the action”, said Suresh Fernando who was one of the key organisers of the event.

The blend of mostly Indian and Sri Lankan crowd that gathered made it seem like an Indo-Sri Lanka effort in their new homeland in Australia.
Next Generation had the dance floor packed to capacity for most of the night with their wide repertoire of music that captured many genres.
Entrance ticket and Raffle ticket draws added that little bit extra to the lucky winners.
It will definitely be worth a repeat when the dinner dance comes around next year.
