Two-time champions West Indies will not take part in the Cricket World Cup for the first time in its history, after being eliminated from contention following their seven-wicket defeat to Scotland in their Super Six qualifier match in Harare, Zimbabwe.

Put in to bat first, West Indies were bowled out for 181 in 43.5 overs, with their top six batsmen dismissed with jist 81 runs on the board.

A seventh-wicket partnership between Jason Holder and Romario Shepherd appeared to have the Windies innings back on tracak, before Shepherd was caught out for 36.
